My day job is as a worship pastor. I have the privilege of working alongside a fantastic team of leaders and friends. Our team culture includes celebrating each other’s birthday. Each year we head out to Starved Rock State Park (a real gem of a place in the midst of the Midwestern plains) when my birthday celebration comes around. These images are some of what I saw today. This was taken during our annual staff advance at Devil’s Lake, Wisconsin. We had a great two days of training, planning, and dreaming. I work with a fantastic team of friends who are also my colleagues. Late October in Wisconsin can be cold, rainy, and harsh, but this day was an absolute gift!

Spent a couple of days this past week hiking around Devil’s Lake, WI, with my colleagues at Minooka Bible Church. We enjoyed the beauty of autumn colors, did some dreaming and planning for our ministry year, and had lots of fun! This was taken with my iPad.
