The second of three posts from the city of Chicago. Chicago winters are harsh, so I am not quite sure why this is an open air station. Perhaps it was a cost decision, or, the we-can-take-whatever-winter-decides-to-dish-out Chicago-attitude. I have a feeling that it’s option “b.”
There’s a roof overhead. What more do you need? RU a NYC wimp or something?!
If you’re cold, stomp your feet… advice from Malone to Ness in The Untouchables, and my advice to you. 🙂
And yes, I did that too, crossing a snow covered bridge in Chicago when there one winter. 🙂
A favorite movie of mine: “They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. That’s the Chicago way!”
As far as crossing snow covered city bridges, my previous comments regarding the entrance of dragons into the windy city stands. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by.
