good friday

Romans 8:38-39

beginning

I started my bicycle ride later than I wanted to, but, it turned out okay. I was able to see the beginning of a beautiful day. We’ll get back to New York soon. (Click on the image for a larger view.)

color my world

She continues to color my world and, I am so grateful…

into the light 3

The latest from my recent trip back home. I know…I’m kind of fond of sunsets…and the shore….and Jones beach….and New York…’nuff said. Hope you enjoy.

into the light 2

Another image in the current New York series. There is something about seeing this beautiful beach deserted that adds to its beauty.

into the light

I guess this is somewhat of a “New York” series now, with an emphasis on Jones Beach. The last five posts and the next few are all from my recent  trip to New York. This was a beautiful day at the shore. I believe this runner made it all the way to the sun.

once again

the verrazano–narrows bridge

This beautiful piece of engineering art connects Staten Island and Brooklyn. It has always struck me as a majestic part of the landscape of the five boroughs of New York City. I leave you with this….interesting fact from the MTA website: Seasonal contractions and expansions of the steel cables cause the double-decked roadway to be 12 feet lower in the summer than in the winter.

moody sunset

Taken from my recent trip to New York to be with my parents. Just felt moody, I guess…

wood and water

Not quite sure what to say about this. If I were artsy, I might call it, “A Study in the Great Battle Between Wood and Water.”  You thoughts?  🙂
