Back to Millennium Park for this post. Chicago is a remarkable city to experience as a photographer. I hope to take some more time this year to enjoy the architecture and parks of the Windy City.

I stepped out of the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago last Fall and was greeted by this image. This is post #4 in the black and white challenge that I accepted from Darwin on the Rocks and Around the World. Be sure and visit this blog for an amazing collection of images and excellent writing.
For this post I would like to invite Photography by Chris Blaubac. Chris is a fine artist, and, I especially appreciate his black and white photos along the shore. Be sure and check out his work.
Here are the rules:
1.Post a different black and white photo of yours each day for five consecutive days.
2. Nominate a fellow blogger on each day to continue the challenge. See you tomorrow for the next post.
Final post tomorrow!

The second of three posts from the city of Chicago. Chicago winters are harsh, so I am not quite sure why this is an open air station. Perhaps it was a cost decision, or, the we-can-take-whatever-winter-decides-to-dish-out Chicago-attitude. I have a feeling that it’s option “b.”
welcome to lasalle street
We have lived in the Midwest for about 26 years now, so Chicago is getting really close to becoming – dare this native New Yorker say it? – my home town! I mean no disrespect New York, and you will always be king of the hill, A-number one, top of the heap…. but Chicago has kind of crept into my heart. There….. I said it.
