I married Ruth, my high school sweetheart, in 1983 and we have four children and 6 grandchildren. I have been the worship pastor at Mission Bible Church since 2004. We are located in Minooka, a southwest suburb of Chicago. I love singing, bicycling, music, Mahler, boxing, coffee, movies, The Beatles, sunsets, coffee, Mahler, the seashore, sunsets at the seashore, coffee, and… the seashore. Originally from New York, I grew up 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches of southern Long Island. I have a Fujifilm X-T5 that I use to capture the world I see. Illinois River Bridge

This bridge spans the Illinois River in Morris, IL, just south of the I&M Canal. I love running and bicycle rides along the canal towpath, and this bridge has become a favorite place to explore.

St. Anne’s Church, Jerusalem

This ancient church was completed in 1138. World renowned for its acoustics, I not only had the opportunity to visit this beautiful sacred space, but was privileged to sing there as well. This magnificent structure is rich with history and beauty and was a highlight of my trip to Israel. The image below was taken as we entered the church grounds.

The Church of the Holy Sepulcher

To me, Jerusalem was the crossroads of humanity – a wondrous city filled with the ancient stories of all her inhabitants. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher has an amazing story of its own. I hope I can return to explore this beautiful city and learn more of its tales.

5 Mile Barn

I call it 5 Mile Barn because it is near 5 Mile Bridge outside of Morris, Illinois.

River and Sky

I have been a runner for many years and, while I do still run, I am bicycling a lot more. This is one of my favorite destinations. It is a park along the banks of the Illinois River in Morris, IL. I have taken lots of shots here and I am always fascinated at how much a single location can change it’s character due to the weather and the change of season. This was a particularly beautiful day.
