I married Ruth, my high school sweetheart, in 1983 and we have four children and 6 grandchildren. I have been the worship pastor at Mission Bible Church since 2004. We are located in Minooka, a southwest suburb of Chicago. I love singing, bicycling, music, Mahler, boxing, coffee, movies, The Beatles, sunsets, coffee, Mahler, the seashore, sunsets at the seashore, coffee, and… the seashore. Originally from New York, I grew up 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches of southern Long Island. I have a Fujifilm X-T5 that I use to capture the world I see. I have been a runner for many years and, while I do still run, I am bicycling a lot more. This is one of my favorite destinations. It is a park along the banks of the Illinois River in Morris, IL. I have taken lots of shots here and I am always fascinated at how much a single location can change it’s character due to the weather and the change of season. This was a particularly beautiful day.

From beaches to bridges, to parks and parkways, Robert Moses was a master builder and his work has helped define that New York Metropolitan area in terms of beauty, accessibility, traffic and urban living. This image is taken from the beautiful Jones Beach boardwalk.
