Spent a couple of days this past week hiking around Devil’s Lake, WI, with my colleagues at Minooka Bible Church. We enjoyed the beauty of autumn colors, did some dreaming and planning for our ministry year, and had lots of fun! This was taken with my iPad.
The Jay Pritzker Pavillion is a fascinating member of the cast of structures and features at beautiful Millennium Park in Chicago. It is a stunning, modern, captivating band shell that adds to the dynamic life and attraction of this amazing park.
Our youngest son is a freshman in high school and participates in the marching band. High School football games in our small town are big events! Rivalries, pride, marching band, cheerleaders, poms, Arrowettes, popcorn, and, lots of cheering fans make for a fun community experience! Go Indians!
Went for a walk with my wife on the tracks behind our subdivision (yeah… that doesn’t sound like a good idea, does it?….the walking on the tracks part…) and spotted this beautiful mantis taking a walk as well!
