new york retreat part 2

In my previous post I indicated that we (my wife and I) were attending a spiritual retreat in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City. After our last session today we were encouraged to experience delight. We decided to walk to the Chelsea Market, then walked the High Line to the Hudson Yards. These images are just a glimpse into an evening of delighting in New York City!

In my previous post I shared images from the General General Theological Seminary campus in Chelsea NY, the location of a spiritual retreat that Ruth, my wife, and I attended last week. In this post, just a few pics from a walk we took to the Chelsea Piers before having dinner at the Empire Diner.

My wife, Ruth, and I had the opportunity to attend a spiritual retreat last week at General Theological Seminary, located in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City. Situated on the west side of Manhattan, the seminary’s first building was build in 1827. The retreat and location provided the perfect setting for solitude, reflection and excellent talks from our retreat guides. We can’t wait to return.

this way or that way

I haven’t done any research, but someone has probably figured out the amount of people that, at any given time, are a part of the subterranean world of New York City. We are all going somewhere. We are all on the journey towards our destination and destiny, going this way, or, that way.

people rain, people rain

From the Oculus we went to the One World Observatory. The forecast called for possible rain and, we could see it coming towards us, carried in the sky by the rainmakers.
