Something a little bit different for me as I tend to gravitate towards landscapes. This is what you see when you look up in the beautiful Field Museum in Chicago.

Catedral Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria

Our Lady of the Candelaria Cathedral or (Spanish) Catedral Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria is the cathedral for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mayagüez located in the eastern end of the Colón Main Square facing the town hall in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.
Our Lady of the Candelaria Cathedral or (Spanish) Catedral Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria is the cathedral for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mayagüez located in the eastern end of the Colón Main Square facing the town hall in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. It is a beautiful house of worship. I love the plaza “concept”: church and government joined by an open area. I can just imagine, in days past, church and civic leaders having conversations and working together to serve the community. Both the spiritual and civic community should complement one another, and, certainly have the potential to have a social/societal as well as individual/transformational impact for justice and service.
