One last image of the Church of the Nativity. This is a wider shot of the Church of St. Catherine (Roman Catholic), which is a part of the traditional site where Christ was born. One of the most amazing aspects of my trip to the Holy Land was the opportunity to visit so many beautiful cathedrals and churches.
This is a detail from a crucifix located beneath the Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem. The site is the traditional location of the birth of Jesus.
The previous post was of the Church of St. Catherine (Roman Catholic), which is connected to the Church of the Nativity (Greek Orthodox). This was taken inside the basilica of the Church of the Nativity.
I have been sorting through what seems like an endless digital pile of photos, keeping those that I want to work on, and deleting those that remind me how valuable my day job is.
