Each year I write the script and coordinate musicians and other artists. On a sad note, I lost a dear friend who passed away suddenly. I also sang at a service for a young mom who passed away in our community. So, there has been lots of sadness, amidst the joy and celebration of Christmas…

It’s that time of year again… you know… where I go through the images from this past year… delete lots that I will never look at again (or don’t want to look at again) and find a few that ask me to take a second look. This is one of them. Taken earlier this year when I was in New York with my oldest son, visiting my elderly parents. It was a cold, cloudy, damp and dark day… but it didn’t matter. I was sharing time with my son and my dear parents…

Another take on the beautiful sunset from last week. I am sure there is a psychological, spiritual, and emotional explanation for why I love sunsets so much……. or why I love the shore….. but it really doesn’t matter…. I just love them….
