i talked to my tears

i talked to my tears today
they had so much to say
as they left my heart
and painted my face
sometimes i’m torn apart
by this crazy race
called life

i talked to my tears today
they had so much to say
as i felt the weight
of my head in my hands
sometimes i can’t think straight
longing for love in the hate
in all the races that shine
so beautifully shine

i talked to my tears today
they had so much to say
tell me more of the me
that must be renewed
that must be
changed
transformed
rearranged
in the deep
by love from above

i talked to my tears today
they had so much to say
so i spoke about hope
that there is a day
when justice will come
pain will be gone
and tears wiped away
on the shores of that day
all nations will sing dance and play

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

the soybean fields

By this time of year the soybean fields are a beautiful green of such depth that they seem to be animated, especially when they are caressed by the winds and the green waves roll across the fields.

title?

Just thought this was cool. Just can’t think of a title. Just saw the movie Gravity. A must see. Just wrote random copy for this post.

let’s stay

let's go back

let’s go back

to the simple

promises

that we made

in that simple place

let’s return

to our hidden

moments

maybe our secrets

are still there

let’s rewind

our hearts

and listen

the vows linger

and so does my love

let’s stay

right now

right here

together

let’s just stay

willow and light

willow and light

Another post from our recent trip to New Buffalo, MI. There are two large willow trees (don’t you just love willow trees?) behind a hotel on the marina. I found this cature beneath the boughs of one of those old willows.
