Welcome to the great, wide, wonderful, ridiculously frigid Polar Vortex of 2019! Thought I would venture out into the eye of the vortex and see what it was like.

Well… wind chill temps were around -30 making both holding a camera and pressing the shutter button a challenge.

Still, I was glad to get out and capture a few images and, even happier to get back home! Wherever you are, I hope it’s warmer than it is here! Thanks for stopping by!

Another image from my February trip back home to NY. Now that the mild weather has finally reached the Midwest it’s hard to believe that just a few week ago this was reality. I do, however, love the shore during the Fall and Winter. Feel free to suggest a title. Thanks for stopping by.
