no birds were harmed

So, I post this with a bit of sadness. A few weeks ago I had a meeting with a peacock. You read that correctly: a peacock. The good news is that no birds were harmed while riding my Scout Sixty. The bad news is that my motorcycle and I had a close encounter with the road of the worst kind. We are both fine and, hopefully, repairs won’t take too long.

mono wind

Back to the wind farm, but this time in a monochrome mood.

st. lucia

Returned late last Thursday from my trip to St. Lucia. I did not bring my DSLR, but I did have my trusty iPhone. The image above is taken fromΒ Cap Moule Γ  Chique (Vieux-Fort). It is the location of an inactive lighthouse offering incredible views.

I love early morning walks, so almost each day started with one. The image below was taken from a lookout at the end of a very steep climb! Worth every step.

st. mary’s catholic church, port washington, wi – part III

Part 3 of St. Mary’s Church. This gives you a good perspective on the location of the church. I am out of the country for two weeks, so I won’t be posting for a while. See you soon!

st. mary’s catholic church, port washington, wi – part II

Image numero 2 of this beautiful church in Port Washington, WI. I did try to go inside, but alas, the doors were locked.

st. mary’s catholic church, port washington, wi

This is the first of three images of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Port Washington, WI. We paid our first visit to this beautiful lakeside community a couple of months ago where this church majestically watches over the town from its hilltop location.

departing light

Me: Hi. My name is Carlos.

You: Hi Carlos.

Me: I am addicted to sunsets.

You: Obviously Carlos.

Me: But wait! I came up with a cool name: “departing light.”

You: It’s still a sunset Carlos.

Me: Have a great week.

still at the shore

Yup… still at the shore for a few more posts. I know… I am a sucker for a sunset.
