Another image from my February trip back home to NY. Now that the mild weather has finally reached the Midwest it’s hard to believe that just a few week ago this was reality. I do, however, love the shore during the Fall and Winter. Feel free to suggest a title. Thanks for stopping by.

lifeguards
Another post from my recent trip to New York. Spent a wonderful, wintry afternoon at Jones Beach. Could not find a lifeguard anywhere, so I went to this lifeguard station to see if any would show up. None did.
my mom
The back story of this photograph: this is my dear mom at her brother’s grave site. He was such a wonderful uncle to me. My mom is the youngest of nine. She has one sister still living. It’s sad for me to see her family and generation pass.

Another favorite spot along the I & M Canal. This beautiful barn looks great all year long.
