I find portraits to be very difficult! I was happy with the way this one turned out. This was also taken at a parade last summer. After the parade I spotted this young lady walking in the middle of the empty street. She is so precious!
We just had about a foot of snow here, so my mind is on summer. This was taken at a parade last summer. Some people find clowns creepy… do you? I’ll post a companion to this image soon. Smile!

This is the last image from a hiking trip that I took with my son to Matthiessen Park. At first I told him not to climb up to the falls… then I followed him! We had a great adventure!
As promised, here is a wide shot of the steps that I perviously posted. We live in the plains of the midwest, so this park is fun to go to because it’s streams, waterfalls, trees and canyons offer a welcome contrast to the endless miles of corn and soybean fields – which also have their own beauty… just lots of it!
