Part 3 of St. Mary’s Church. This gives you a good perspective on the location of the church. I am out of the country for two weeks, so I won’t be posting for a while. See you soon!

This is the first of three images of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Port Washington, WI. We paid our first visit to this beautiful lakeside community a couple of months ago where this church majestically watches over the town from its hilltop location.

This was seen in Logan’s Square, Chicago. This will be my last post for the next week or so. I am out of town with my bride to a worship conference. Have a great week everyone!!

St. Patrick's Cathedral 3

The restoration project at St. Patrick’s Cathedral is on a colossal scale that is only matched by the beautiful cathedral itself.

Catedral Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria

Our Lady of the Candelaria Cathedral or (Spanish) Catedral Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria is the cathedral for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mayagüez located in the eastern end of the Colón Main Square facing the town hall in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. It is a beautiful house of worship. I love the plaza “concept”: church and government joined by an open area. I can just imagine, in days past, church and civic leaders having conversations and working together to serve the community. Both the spiritual and civic community should complement one another, and, certainly have the potential to have a social/societal as well as individual/transformational impact for justice and service. In other news, rutakintome pictures now has a Facebook home. Also, a special thanks to my growing WordPress family! The Church of the Holy Sepulcher

To me, Jerusalem was the crossroads of humanity – a wondrous city filled with the ancient stories of all her inhabitants. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher has an amazing story of its own. I hope I can return to explore this beautiful city and learn more of its tales.
