Taken on Lake Michigan from the beach at New Buffalo, MI. I think I remember shouting from the shore, “HAVE YOU SEEN THE WHITE WHALE?” 🙂

So serene. (Still can’t get over the size of some of the lakes you have in North America!)
They are “little oceans”. The eastern side of Lake Michigan is very nice. The shore is full of quaint small towns and lighthouses.

English is so much easier. To put in a M. Twain quote: “Never knew before what eternity was made for. It is to give some of us a chance to learn German.”
As a trained singer I can pronounce German, but that’s all. That Mark Twain was a funny guy. As far as I know, everyone speaks Spanish in heaven! 🙂
